Xitricon is proud to share an important milestone in our ongoing IFS implementation journey with METSCCO Heavy Steel Industries Co. Ltd. — one of Saudi Arabia's most established heavy steel fabrication and engineering companies. In a short period of intense collaboration, both teams have made significant progress, laying a strong and stable foundation for the transformation ahead.

Progress Built on Partnership
Working closely with the METSCCO team on-site, and with the continued support of IFS, the joint project team has moved swiftly through key implementation phases — aligning business processes, configuring the IFS platform to meet METSCCO's complex operational requirements, and establishing a robust governance framework to support the journey ahead.
METSCCO operates two major fabrication facilities — a 20,000 sqm plant in Riyadh and a 45,000 sqm plant in Jeddah — serving the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, and water sectors across Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Managing the full lifecycle of complex EPC projects across multiple disciplines requires a modern, integrated enterprise platform, and IFS is uniquely positioned to deliver this.
The IFS implementation is designed to bring together METSCCO's critical business functions under a single, unified platform, covering:
- Project & Engineering Management: End-to-end visibility from concept and FEED through to detailed design and commissioning.
- Fabrication & Manufacturing Operations: Supporting the production of pressure vessels, storage tanks, steel structures, and piping systems at scale.
- Procurement & Supply Chain: Streamlining purchasing, vendor management, and materials planning across both facilities.
- Asset & Maintenance Management: Enabling proactive lifecycle management of plant, equipment, and infrastructure assets.
