Capital Equipment Group (CEG), one of Southern Africa’s leading distributors of construction, mining, and Material Handling equipment, has successfully completed its upgrade to IFS Cloud, in partnership with IFS Premier Partner Xitricon, marking an important milestone in the Group’s ongoing digital transformation journey.
The upgrade provides CEG with a modern, unified enterprise platform designed to improve operational visibility, streamline business processes and strengthen customer service across its diverse portfolio of businesses and brands.
A Group-Wide Digital Transformation
The IFS Cloud upgrade encompasses 4 CEG Companies (High Power Equipment Africa, DISA Equipment, Criterion Equipment and Shamrock Handling Concepts), supporting operations across construction, mining, and material handling equipment.
Bringing these operations together on a modern IFS Cloud platform provides CEG with greater consistency and visibility across the Group while creating a scalable digital foundation for continued growth.

IFS Cloud brings critical business functions together on a single enterprise platform, providing CEG with improved access to real-time information, stronger resource planning, streamlined supply chain processes and enhanced capabilities to support its customers and operations.
For CEG’s customers, these improvements are expected to support more efficient service delivery, improved equipment and parts availability, faster response times and a more connected customer experience across the equipment lifecycle—from sales and parts management through to after-sales service and maintenance.
Strong Partnership and Successful Delivery
The upgrade was delivered through close collaboration between the CEG and Xitricon teams, successfully transitioning the business to IFS Cloud while maintaining a strong focus on operational continuity and business readiness.
