About the role:
We are seeking an experienced IFS PSO Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimisation of IFS Planning & Scheduling Optimization solutions for service management customers. The role involves working with customers to improve field service operations through intelligent scheduling, workforce optimisation, resource planning, and SLA-driven service delivery.
*Given our upcoming pipeline of European and Nordic projects, our ideal candidate is a consultant based in those regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IFS PSO implementations.
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, training, and deployment activities.
- Configure optimisation rules, resource calendars, territories, skills, and scheduling models.
- Integrate PSO with IFS Cloud and external systems.
- Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and post-go-live activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with IFS Cloud Service Management, Field Service Management, and PSO.
- Experience delivering at least two to three end-to-end PSO implementations (including rollouts).
- Strong understanding of workforce management, dispatching, route optimisation, capacity planning, and SLA management.
- Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, reporting, and integrations is preferred.
- Excellent consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in service-intensive industries such as utilities, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, aerospace, or defence is advantageous.
