About the Role:
Xitricon is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support enterprise client environments. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, performance tuning, and ongoing management of Oracle database systems — primarily within ERP and integration infrastructure contexts.
*Candidate must be residents of United Kingdom or Ireland region.
What You Will Do:
- Administer and maintain Oracle database environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Perform database performance tuning, capacity planning, and query optimisation.
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Support ERP system deployments, upgrades, and migrations involving Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with application and integration teams to ensure database reliability and security.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and change records.
About You
- 2–5 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c administration.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and ASM.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
- Exposure to ERP database environments (IFS, Oracle EBS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
